HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR TRUFFLE
When storing your truffle please keep it in the fridge in a glass jar or plastic container.
Each truffle should be individually wrapped in a paper towel to minimise their loss of moisture.
Note: Change paper towels every day.
Truffles do lose moisture (weight) and gradually the aroma will fade after about 2 weeks, so enjoy quickly once you get yours.
If there’s a little white mould develops, not to worry, you can brush it off under running cold water and then dry the truffle with a paper towel, before replacing it back in the fridge. Then it is good to use.
The best tip: add some fresh eggs in the jar with your truffle.
They will absorb the aroma and after a day or two and you can have truffle eggs to scramble and elevate the truffle flavour for a delicious meal.
